Navy Officer in Benue brutalise and extort Student for wearing Camouflage Cap

Benue Comrades Demand Justice

Public notice

Face of a Blood Sucking Demon and Criminal.

Benue Youths, students and the general public, behold the face of a blood sucking demon called Akeje Samuel who lives at Bahamas Hostel behind customary court Opposite BSU 1st Gate. He prides him self to be a naval officer but he is never in the barracks rather he is always around BSU intimidating and extorting students with the help his Uniform and rifle.

This wicked Animal about four days ago descended on a friend and Comrade of ours who went to drop his friend at Bahamas hostel all because my friend was wearing a camoflage cap which by the way is not even militarily issued. The Young man he beat up is the Son of a very influential chief, politician and proprietor of a Polytechnic in Logo LG, Benue state.

All because of Military cap, this Animal, beat up this young man who incidentally is a final year student of the department of Political Science University of Mkar to a pulp and almost to a coma, he kicked him on his stomach, used his boot to kick his head servel times, made the young man stand on his head for close to an hour, slapped him multiple times as eve he does not have a father or a home, infact he humiliated him and after doing all that the idiot Naval recruit officer who by the way is a disgrace to the Nigerian Navy threatened to always beat the Young man up except he bribed his way out and to our greatest surprise this idiot called Akeju Samuel extorted the sum of 8000 naira from him in the name of bail.

Our Concern

This singular act of Barbarism is one that has been on the rise of recent and we must put hands together to stop it with immediate effect. This man Akeju Samuel is reputed to be a bully, an extortionist and one who aids criminals and cultist activites within Benue state University and its environs. Indeed we accept that it was wrong for Comrade Kelvin Tingir Suswam to wear a camouflage but what we find troubling is the manner of open brazen humiliation, extortion and intimidation meted on our dear Comrade as we are very conversant with the Law. And the Law does not permit Akeju Samuel of dishing out the kind of jungle and unethical justice he did on that faithful day.

Truth be told if we do not handle this issue with all seriousness then we have failed as a people and our society wont be far from the state of Nature as described by Thomas Hobbes., Nasty, solitary, short and brutish.

Our Demands

  1. That this criminal in Uniform be arrested by the Nigerian Police with immediate effect
  2. That he is stripped off his rank in the Nigerian Navy and court marshalled with immediate effect
  3. That he returns the money he extorted from Master Comrade Kelvin Suswam Tingir with immediate effect or face litigation for extortion and intimidation
  4. That an investigation is launched with immediate effect by the Nigerian Navy with the aim of finding out what happened firat hand and also putting a stop to his illegal activites around BSU campus and its environs.
  5. That the Naval personel in question and the command of the Nigerian Naval Base in Makurdi offer a written and unreserved public apology to the Comrade who was humiliated and beaten with out just cause.
  6. That the Nigerian Navy pay damages to our Comrade for inflicting physical as well as psychological wounds on our dear comrade with out going through the proper channel.

As at the time of our independent investigation, Akeju Samuel whos number is +2348063782675 and Email is not a student of BSU and thus has no concern habitating amongst students. He is suppose to be in the barracks of his duty post so it is only logical he is investigated as he might just be an imposter or a deserter in the Nigerian Navy who has decided to live among students who he knows he can intimidate and extort at will.

We shall be working with renowned human rights Lawer Comrade Barrister Spencer Tony Onazi, Benue state Government through the distinguished SA on Students Comrade Hon Degans Succes Adom, National Association of Nigerian Students NANS through the National President Comrade Leader Obande Gideon GCNS, NUBESS National through the distinguished Leadership of Comrade Tyonor Smith Kuram, and the Benue State House of Assembly through the member Representating Logo State constituence with the sole aim of getting Justice.

Silence is a sin in an unjust society, we are not sinners but righteous Comrades and we will never let go or rest until we get justice.

Aluta continua, Victoria Acetera

I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s both equally educative and interesting, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something which too few folks are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy I found this during my hunt for something concerning this.
