PictureNews: Gov Ortom, Abounu, Lawani, Saleh, Bongos & Others Bid Farewell to Audu Ogbeh’s Younger Brother

The country home of Chief Audu Ogbe, the minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in Efugo, Otukpa, Ogbadibo local government area of Benue state wore a sombre mood today as the body of the late Clement Idoko Ogbe, Principal Manager with the Central Bank of Nigeria and brother to Chief Ogbe was committed to mother earth amidst wailing by relations, friends and sympathisers.

Governor Ortom described his death as “very painful”, coming so at the prime of his life when his rich experience is needed for the development of the state and country. Represented by his deputy, Engr Benson Abounu, Governor Ortom said the death of the late banker, who died in an accident on his way home to attend to some developmental issues is a big loss not just to the Ogbe family but to the entire state and country.

Speaking, Chief Audu Ogbe thanked Governor Ortom, his deputy and the multitude of people that came from all over the country to bid farewell to his brother and said that the late Idoko, while alive committed himself to helping to lift the standard of living of the rural people.
