Atiku, Akinwunmi Ambode, Dickson Akoh, Others To Be Honoured By Emmanuel Eche-Ofun John Led GRAFO

An Abuja-based Non-Governmental Organization, Graduate Foundation (GRAFO), has concluded plans to honour some Nigerians and institutions for their youths-empowerment efforts in 2017.

The event tagged, ‘Jobs Providers Award’, is an annual event organized by the Foundation to appreciate individuals and organizations that are working assiduously towards alleviating the pains of unemployed Nigerian youths.

Among those nominated for the awards, this year include Nigerian Police Force (NPF), Alh. Atiku Abubakar, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Ambassador Dickson Akoh, Lift Above Poverty (LAPO), Senator Ahmed Ogembe, Hon. Mohammed Lado, Nigerian Peace Corps, Mr Linus Okorie, Kefiano Autos, Hon. Isiaka Abiodun Akinlade, Tony Elemelu Foundation, and others.

In a press release signed by the Founder and President of the Group Mr Emmanuel Eche-Ofun John and made available to newsmen, he stated that the 2017 edition of the awards promised to be a huge success.

According to him; ‘People and organizations nominated for the awards are those who have made visible marks in the labour market through their youth-empowerment efforts. They made concerted efforts to take thousands of youths out of the labour market in 2017 and so deserve to be honoured. The award is to recognize and appreciate them, and also to spur into action those in privileged positions to help our unemployed youths but are doing little or nothing in that regard,’ he stated.

The event is slated for December 14, 2017, at Bolingo Hotel, Abuja. The Organisers could be reached at 08060304271.
